Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

Tibiara is an old school real-map project with legacy worlds for classic Tibia eras, currently supporting both 7.4 and 8.0 gameplay. The 7.4 world recreates the version that initially went live on December 14, 2004, while the 8.0 world offers its own later-era experience.
Rates are configured per world and shown in the Worlds section. Each world is tuned for its own client era, including the 7.4 and 8.0 worlds.
No! Our legacy game worlds are long-term worlds that will never be reset. You do not need to worry about losing your progress!
At the moment, the game worlds are hosted in Virginia, USA.
One of the modernizations we've done is that we have setup multiple proxy servers that players can connect through automatically to reduce latency and get a smoother gaming experience! We've had nothing but positive feedback regarding this from players in EU for example.
The game worlds are saved every day at 04:00 EDT / 10:00 CEST, which takes about 5-10 minutes of downtime to ensure everything comes back online smoothly. Keep in mind that you won't be able to log in to the game worlds approximately 5 minutes before the save process begins.
Tibiara already offers both 7.4 and 8.0 worlds. New worlds or regions may open if demand and player count are high, but we do not announce additional worlds until plans are confirmed.
Yes! Each Tibiara world stays true to its target Tibia era in the majority of game aspects, including the 7.4 and 8.0 worlds. However, we have applied some changes to enhance the player experience, mostly changes that do not interfere with the core mechanics of the game. Everything is carefully thought through to keep the original feel.
The sector refresh system can be confusing and frustrating, especially when you return to a location only to find your loot bag has been cleaned up.

Here’s how it works: The map is divided into sectors covered by refresh tiles that are cleaned on a set interval. After a server save, the refreshing process starts immediately from the top northwest corner of the map and moves across the map to the southeast corner.

Each sector is cleaned on a repeating interval of 4 hours and 48 minutes — meaning once a sector is cleaned, it will be cleaned again after exactly 4 hours and 48 minutes.

The cleaning of a sector can be blocked if a player is inside that sector when it’s due to refresh. This block applies not only to the sector itself but can also affect the floors directly above or below, depending on which floor the player is on.

Additionally, all refresh tiles are cleaned during the global server save, which occurs every 24 hours.

Some third-party fan sites track these refresh tiles and provide approximate timers for when each sector will refresh.

Rules

Absolutely not! We have very strict rules and policies regarding using unofficial software to enhance your gaming experience as it may give unfair advantages over other players that abide by the rules. It is very important that users read and understand the rules of the game as well as our policies & terms of use.
Obvious automation tools such as BOTs that are specific for the game won't be mentioned as we don't wanna give players any ideas on where to obtain cheats. However here are some examples macro tools that should not be running while user is playing Tibiara: MacroRecorder, Tiny Task, AutoHotkey, Xmouse, OUPilot, ReMouse, JbitMacro, Binder etc. These are some examples. Official programs that come with branded mouses such as Logitech G hub, Razer Synapse are allowed to be running as long they have no macro binds (eg. two actions or more in one click) Please make sure you contact us and ask if you are unsure about a software is allowed or not before you start using it while playing Tibiara.
These softwares are not necessary when you play Tibiara because you can actually bind your 3 extra mouse buttons to hotkeys directly in our hotkey manager inside the game client. This also ensures that macro usage is not accidentally used and therefore penalized.
No. This is not allowed either as it replicates the effect of a bot/macro would do.
No. You are only allowed to have one character online at the same time. Even if you have seperate internet or use VPNs it is still
not allowed. One human is allowed to have one character online, wheter it's idle or not as long as the character has online status it will count
as multi-clienting.
No, this can be used to gain certain advantages and is not allowed as it falls under multi-clienting.
Please make sure your character is fully offline before you connect to another character.
There is three different ways a players can go about reporting a rule violation they witnessed:
* Via the built in rule violation function (CTRL + R) - Slow response time.
* Sending email to [email protected] - Medium response time.
* Opening a ticket on our discord server - Very fast response time.

Yes! The game client has a built-in recorder that automatically saves your gameplay in a dedicated Tibiara folder inside your user's AppData directory.
Recordings are saved in .record format and can only be played back directly in the client by pressing “Play Cams.” They are sorted first by name, then by date and time.
Yes! You can share your recordings by locating the .record file you'd like to send in your AppData Roaming folder named "Tibiara."

The easiest way to access this folder is through the game client:
Press "Play Cams" → "Open Records Folder." This will open the folder where all your recordings are saved.

To watch a recording someone else sent you, simply place their .record file into this same folder. Make sure to close and reopen the "Play Cams" window so the client can refresh the list and show the new recording.

House

Premium Account: You must have an active premium account to rent a house. If your premium status expires, you will lose ownership of the house.

Level Requirement: Your character must be at least level 20.

Quantity Limitation: Each account may own only one house at a time per game world. Additionally, you may own one guild hall if you meet the specific requirements.
To bid on a guildhall, you must be at least level 20 and the leader of an active guild. In short, you need to be a guild leader with an active premium account, and your guild must have at least four vice leaders who also have premium accounts.
On 7.4 worlds, rent and house auction payments are taken directly from your depot in the town where the house is located. It does not matter if the money is stored together or split across different containers, as long as your depot contains the full amount.

On 8.0 worlds, house auctions and rents use the bank system instead. Your character needs enough gold in the bank balance, and bids or transfer acceptances must be made while the character is offline.
You can manage access to your house using the following spells:

Aleta sio — Invite guests so they can enter your home.

Aleta som — Grant someone sub-owner rights to your house.

Aleta grav — Allow someone to open and close doors inside your house. You can use this spell on specific doors by standing in front of or inside the door when you cast it.

Alana sio "param" — Kick someone out of your house.
If a house is lost or abandoned, all items inside are automatically moved to the former owner’s depot in the same town.

However, if a house is transferred or sold to another player, all items inside the house remain there — so be sure to remove your valuables before completing the trade.
