Dear Players,
After months of feedback, discussions, and countless requests from the community for a new, faster-paced world, the time has finally come to reveal what we have been teasing.
On Monday, June 22nd, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, we will open the doors to our brand-new PvP-Enforced high-rate world.

What version will the new world be?
The new world will be based on version 8.0.
We believe that many players in our diverse community has lately been looking for a proper 8.0 experience that captures both the nostalgia and the realistic feeling of the old game. With this world, our goal is to bring that same sense of nostalgia to the 8.0 community that we have already brought to our 7.4 legacy world over a year ago.
This new world is not meant to replace what already exists. Instead, it is meant to offer something different, exciting, and more fast-paced for players who want a new kind of Tibiara experience.

Where will the world be hosted?
Just like our legacy game world, the new world will be hosted in Ashburn, Virginia, USA.
With multiple proxies and additional infrastructure in place, players from Europe and South America will still be able to enjoy smooth gameplay, just as many have already done on our legacy world during the past year.
What will happen to the current world?
Nothing will change for the current legacy world.
Our 7.4 world will continue to exist, grow, and receive the same care and attention it has received since its creation. The new world will not interfere with, replace, or take priority over the existing game world.
Both worlds will receive our full attention and support.
Why not another 7.4 world?
Our intention is not to replace or compete with the existing legacy world.
A major reason we chose a completely different version of the game is to make sure both worlds can exist separately, with their own identity, mechanics, and gameplay style. By opening an 8.0 world instead of another 7.4 world, we avoid splitting the same experience into two competing versions.
This also gives our loyal legacy world players a chance to experience something new, fast-paced, and different, without leaving behind the world they have already invested in. It will be an extra bonus, you will be able to enjoy a fresh Tibiara experience while the legacy world continues to grow and receive our continuous full support.
We truly believe this will give players something new to enjoy while also bringing more traffic and attention to Tibiara as a whole, which of course includes the legacy 7.4 world.
Why not a long-term low-rate 8.0 world?
There are several reasons.
First, the feedback we have received from the community is clear: many players want something more fast-paced, action-heavy, less time consuming, and fun to play over the summer.
Second, we have upgraded our reverse-engineered 7.7 game server through versions 7.8, 7.9, and finally 8.0. A lot changed between these versions, and while we have been extremely careful and tested as much as possible, rare issues may still appear. On a long-term low-rate world, even small issues can have a much bigger impact. At this stage, the 8.0 version is simply not ready for that kind of permanent long-term environment.
However, with your support, activity, and feedback, this world can help us improve the 8.0 foundation and potentially lead to something more long-term in the future.
Is this a test server?
Technically, yes. This world is a test server, but not in the traditional sense. A traditional test server only remains online for a few days or weeks, but this test server will not shut down shortly after it's launch. As long as there is reasonable activity, the world will remain online for players to enjoy.
It will of course be treated like any other Tibiara world, with support, updates, and attention from our team.
With that said, because it is a test world, players should expect changes, updates, balance adjustments, and improvements over time as we continue working toward better stability and gameplay balance.
Why should you play Tibiara over other 8.0 servers?
As we have proven time and time again with our 7.4 legacy world, details matter. We have spent a lot of effort and time into reverse engineering the leaked 7.7 game server to be able to first downgrade it to 7.4 and now upgrade it to 8.0. This was necessary to give an authentic experience. Simply put, this is not just another OT. This will shape up to be the real deal.
The very few 8.0 servers out there that does exist, may offer the version on paper, but they often lack the depth, polish, and authenticity needed to make the world truly feel alive. At Tibiara, we do not believe in only recreating the surface of the game. We care about the small things — the forgotten mechanics, the obscure quests, the hidden NPC stories, and the little details that most players may never even notice.
That one odd quest almost nobody remembers? It is there.
That old NPC dialogue only a few players ever discovered? Absolutely!
Want to bake a party cake for someone? You can.
That one book or textdocument with stories? It's in the same place you first encountered it back in the glory days.
An authentic Pits of Inferno quest, recreated down to the smallest details? Already ready.
Our goal is not just to provide "just another" 8.0 server. Our goal is to provide a world that feels real, nostalgic, and carefully built — a world where details matters and game functions work the way they did back then. Just as we did for the 7.4 world.
That is what ultimately separates Tibiara from the rest.
Do I need to create a new account?
No.
If you already have a Tibiara account, you do not need to create a new one. This is simply a new world. Your existing account, including your premium time, will be integrated across both worlds and any future worlds as well.
Can I play both worlds at the same time?
Yes. Players will be allowed to play both worlds at the same time using the same account.
However, within each individual world, every character must still be controlled by a unique player. In other words, a player may only have one character online per world at any given time. This rule remains unchanged.
Will I be able to open multiple clients?
Yes, but only one client per world.
Each world will have its own unique game client, and each client will only be able to connect to its designated world.
This means you may have one client open for the legacy world and one client open for the new world at the same time. However, you will still only be allowed to have one character online per world.
In case of rule violations, will accounts playing on different worlds also be subject to punishment?
Yes. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward cheating and serious rule violations.
For example, if a player decides to use a macro, bot, or any other illegal software, all accounts connected to that player may be subject to punishment, regardless of which world those accounts are played on. The world a character belongs to does not matter. Players are responsible for their accounts and for following the rules on every Tibiara world.
Is it possible to transfer characters between worlds?
No. Character transfers between worlds will not be possible.
As mentioned earlier, we do not want the two worlds to collide or interfere with each other in any way. Each world is designed to be its own unique experience, with different mechanics, gameplay, and balance.
Because of this, transferring characters between them would not be suitable and will not be supported.
When will the new world open?
The new game world is scheduled to open on:

Make sure to prepare yourselves for a faster, more dangerous, and more action-driven Tibiara experience.
